In a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, reaffirmed their commitment to fostering national development and prioritizing the well-being of Emirati citizens. The discussions highlighted the pivotal role of Emiratis in the nation’s development strategy, focusing on long-term ambitions and the enhancement of living standards.
The two leaders expressed their hopes for continued security, prosperity, and progress within the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Hamad was joined by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. The gathering was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, among others.
This meeting is part of ongoing consultations by the UAE leadership to assess national priorities, bolster cooperation among the emirates, and enhance the quality of life for both citizens and residents. Such regular engagements are crucial for reviewing strategies and ensuring alignment with the nation’s development goals.
The gathering in Abu Dhabi follows President Sheikh Mohamed’s visit to Fujairah in April, where he and Sheikh Hamad toured Fujairah Port. During that visit, they assessed ongoing development projects and operational improvements at one of the UAE’s key maritime gateways, underlining the importance of such infrastructure in the country’s economic landscape.
