Netflix Raises Prices in UAE: How to Save Money by Switching Plans

by admin477351

Streaming giant Netflix has announced a price increase for subscribers in the UAE, with some users set to pay up to Dh10 more per month. The revised pricing will take effect from December 23, impacting users based on their current subscription tier.

New Netflix Pricing in the UAE
Standard Plan: Previously priced at Dh39 per month, this plan—offering full-HD streaming on two devices—will now cost Dh49.
Premium Plan: Users who enjoy ultra-HD streaming on up to four devices will see their monthly bill rise from Dh62 to Dh71.
Basic Plan: No changes here—subscribers paying Dh35 per month for HD streaming on a single device will continue at the same rate.
Want to Cut Costs? Here’s How to Switch to a Cheaper Plan
If you’re looking to reduce your monthly Netflix bill, you can easily downgrade to a lower-tier plan. Follow these simple steps:

Log in to your Netflix account at netflix.com.
Navigate to the “Change Plan” option on the account overview page.
Select your preferred, more affordable plan and confirm your choice.
Your new, lower rate will take effect from the next billing cycle. However, you’ll still enjoy your current plan’s benefits until the next renewal date.

For those upgrading to a higher-tier plan, Netflix will charge a pro-rated amount based on the time left in your billing cycle, and the new features will be activated immediately.

With streaming costs on the rise, making a smart choice about your subscription can help you balance quality entertainment with your budget.
