Officials emphasize that the only legitimate way to book appointments for passport, visa, and attestation services is through the official online portal. They strongly advise applicants against paying any individuals, agencies, or intermediaries that claim to facilitate appointment bookings or expedited services on behalf of the Indian missions.
The missions further caution against trusting any organization or representative purporting to be officially authorized to offer these appointment services. Those who suspect they have been misled, overcharged, or falsely represented are urged to report such incidents using the official contact channels provided by the Embassy or Consulate.
