The United Arab Emirates has sent a significant shipment of humanitarian aid to Gaza, consisting of 980 tonnes of essential supplies. This aid, transported via 62 trucks, includes food, medical supplies, and materials for shelter, aimed at assisting civilians impacted by the ongoing conflict.
This relief effort is part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, with the latest delivery organized at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt. Since the inception of the operation in October 2023, the UAE has utilized various transportation routes, including land, air, and sea, to provide crucial support to the region.
In addition to these shipments, the UAE has established medical facilities and facilitated the evacuation of thousands of injured and critically ill individuals for further treatment. The country’s dedication to addressing the severe humanitarian needs in Gaza is evident through these comprehensive efforts.
